Christopher J. Brady, M.D. is an assistant professor of ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of vitreoretinal diseases, including macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. His research focuses on the benefits of telemedicine for underserved populations and how new technologies can improve patient care.
Dr. Brady received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed an internship in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia, where he also completed a vitreoretinal fellowship. He has done volunteer work for Helen Keller International in Senegal and for Orbis International in India, focusing on community eye health and quality improvements in ophthalmology care.
